This was one of the best accommodations I've ever stayed at. We wanted a cozy Romanian holiday experience and Casa Mosului exceeded our expectations. The owner was very friendly, the house was nice and clean, and the homemade food was delicious. The attention to detail was outstanding, from the lit fireplace to the quality of the water and internet signal. The location was perfect for exploring Transylvania and the nearby Transfagarasan Road. a perfect stay for both winter and summer.
Can just recommend this hotel.

Spacious units with wooden furniture and hand-woven carpets - The rooms at this hotel felt like stepping into a fairytale, with the charming wooden furniture and beautiful hand-woven carpets. It was like staying in a cozy cabin with a touch of elegance.
Limited free WiFi - Although the hotel provided free WiFi, the connection was a bit unreliable at times.

The lodge-style hotel had a beautiful decor with restored old objects and traditional furniture. the grass courtyard with hammocks was extremely relaxing and the location served as a great base for touring. the guest house was near Bran Castle and the enchanting Balea Lake, which offered breathtaking views. the locally sourced breakfast served was excellent, and the balcony in each room was an unexpected surprise.
The unfriendly owner lacked people skills, leaving some guests feeling uncomfortable due to the language barrier.

The location of this guesthouse is ideal for a city break, as it is situated near two major cities that are easy to visit. the surrounding nature is also beautiful and perfect for hiking, snowboarding, and skiing. the garden is a real oasis of calm and a perfect spot to relax.
The sound insulation is very poor, and the noise from the yard and the house can be really disturbing. finding a decent place to eat nearby can be a bit of a struggle, as there are not many restaurants in the area.

We recently went on a romantic escape in the countryside and we were pleasantly surprised by the warm hospitality and beautiful location of this cozy guesthouse. We loved the fact that the room was clean and comfortable, offering us a cozy atmosphere to enjoy this special time together. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with fresh ingredients that were sourced locally. the beautiful surroundings and picturesque location made for a truly romantic getaway.
We found that the guesthouse lacked some basic facilities we expected for the price point, such as a gym or spa. we would have appreciated more guidance and info from the staff about the surrounding area and sightseeing opportunities.
